Who Is Mitzi Gaynor ?

Mitzi Gaynor is an American actress, singer/songwriter, actress and dancer. She was born as Francesca Marlene de Czanyi von Gerber on the 4th of September, 1931 (which makes her 92 years old) in Illinois.

Her mother was a dancer while her father was a violinist, cellist, and music director. As a result of her father’s second marriage, Mitzi became stepsister to Donald Walter Duncan who was a Vietnam war veteran and popular antiwar activist.

At a tender age, she moved with her family to Elgin, Illinois after which they moved to Detroit, Michigan. At age 11, her family moved again but this time to Los Angeles. While in Los Angeles, she began singing with the Civic Light Opera at 13 years old. She attended Le Conte Junior High in Hollywood, which was possible because she falsified her address.

On the 18th of November 1954, Gaynor got married to Jack Bean who was both a talent agent and a public relations executive in San Francisco. They lived in Northern Arden Drive in Beverly Hill, California.

This happened immediately after she had been released from 20th Century Fox with four years left on the contract which was a seven-year contract. Bean resigned from his MCA job shortly after their marriage and began his publicity firm which was called “Bean and Rose, he also became Graynor’s manager.

Unfortunately, they had no child in the union. Later in 2006, Bean died following a pneumonia diagnosis at 84 years of age. Nevertheless, he ensured to have properly and adequately played his role as not just a husband but also a competent manager to Gaynor his wife.

A replacement of Gaynor’s manager (her late husband) is not known although she could still pull through, doing excellent at her job
