Tito Jackson was the third born out of ten children born to Joseph, his father, and Katherine. His father was a steel mill worker while his mother was a devout Jehovah witness. His family was a classy working one. They lived in a 3-bedroom located in Gary, Indiana.

According to investigations, her death was termed accidental. However, it did not take long to find the person involved in her death. Donald Bohana, a businessperson from Los Angeles, was found guilty and charged with murder.

The brothers began performing in school functions and later local shows when Jackson had just hit 12 years. His brother Michael was the leader of that band when he was seven years old.

Later on, in 1965, they named their band Jackson 5. Their efforts in singing awarded them many awards.

After two workings of working with the band, Joe Jackson had to work part-time at the steel mill as a way of securing a deal with Steel town records.
