Popular gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, is dead

Renowned Nigerian musician, Sister Osinachi Nwachukwu, the singer of the popular “Ekwueme” song has been confirmed dead. It was reported that she has been on life support for the past two months. She is survived by her husband, Peter Nwachukwu, and four children.

Sister Sinach who is known with her angelic voice is generally known for the track, Ekwueme, and afterwards the sad news of her demise has gone viral, many people have reacted to it.

Right through her career as a gospel singer, she has featured in some popular gospel songs like “Nara Ekele” by Pastor Paul Enenche @ Dunamis, Abuja, “Ekwueme” by Prospa Ochimana, and “You no dey use me play” by Emma.

Her last song, Ikem (God of Power) was released in November 2021.

Though the mainstream reports says that she died of cancer, some reports from within have recently come out that are contrary to that. Some of her friends allegedly mentioned that the gospel artist suffered from domestic violence from her husband which led to the complications in her health condition, and testified that she had been going through this for a long time. Investigations are being done on what the truth of the he matter is.
