  1. My son wrote this. He wanted to make sure someone got it.

My name is Nigel and I’m currently incarcerated at Everglades Correctional in Florida. Maverick City came to our institution and blessed us with an unforgettable experience. I want to thank everybody who took the time to come see about us. But I want to give a special thanks to Naomi Raine. She wrote a song called “The story I’ll tell”. The lyrics are my testimony. I came to prison at the age of 24 with a life sentence. I was lost and hopeless with no belief in God. But through the process of my appeals I was able to get my life sentence overturned. The circumstances were so unexpected and miraculous that I knew without a doubt that Gods hand was on my life. I’m so grateful that Christ is my provider and showed mercy in my darkest hour. I would like to tell Naomi that she’s personally spoke to my life and so many others who are incarcerated. Maverick City is doing more than just singing, their music is ministry. Thank you and God Bless.

    Respectfully, Nigel
