Sumsum Ahuofe was birthed on the November 23, 1994, in Buokrom, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
He is a native of Nkoranza in the Bono East Region. Sumsum was the eldest of seven children, and while he had experience many challenges, he remembered there were always those who had it worse.

His break at Miracle Films came through Jones Agyemang, who introduced him to the owner—Mr. Samuel Nyamekye. Since then, he has been in several Kumawood movies, showcasing a range and aspect of comedy.
