Overview:
As a Home Child Care Provider, you will play a crucial role in providing nurturing care and guidance to children in a home environment. Your responsibilities will include supervising and caring for children, preparing nutritious meals, organizing activities, and ensuring a safe and healthy environment. Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Language: Proficiency in English
Responsibilities:
Your duties as a Home Child Care Provider will include:
- Assuming full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
- Shopping for food and household supplies
- Instructing children in personal hygiene and social development
- Keeping records of daily activities and health information regarding children
- Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Organizing activities such as games and outings for children
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals
- Taking children to and from school and appointments
- Tending to the emotional well-being of children
- Assisting children with homework
Credentials:
- Certificates: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate
- Experience and Specialization: Experience with children over 12 years, special needs children, children with allergies, and children with asthma
