Master Heavy-Duty Machine Electricians (DEADLINE: 29 May 2024)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCES
- HND or Diploma / Degree or other equivalent certifications in Electrical Engineering or other related fields.
- Certification as a heavy-duty equipment mechanic or electrician or both, from a recognized certification agency. (e.g. Technical & Vocational Institutions like NVTI, Technical Universities, etc.)
- Proven work experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic in a corporate mechanical garage/workshop (5 – 10 years of work experience)
- Extensive knowledge of heavy-duty diesel engines and mining equipments, experience in re-building or overhauling heavy-duty engines.
Other Requirements:
- Understanding of computer testing technologies
- Proven work experience as a diesel or heavy-duty equipment mechanic
- Ability to work after normal work hours if required.
- Good communication skills in English and other local languages
- Ability to write reports, use the email system and other social media channels of communication.
- Ability to work under reasonable pressure.
