Her Early Life & Family
Kafui was born on August 16, 1982, in the Volta Region and she spent her formative years in Ho. She hails originally from Tanyigbe Etoe, Ho, Volta Region of Ghana.
Kafui has two siblings, an elder sister and a younger brother. Her parents are the late John Danku and Madam Agnes Asigbey (a retired Nurse).

She attended Mawuli Primary and JHS and later attended OLA Girls SHS. After she completed OLA Girls, she went to the University of Cape Coast for her tertiary education. She graduated from UCC with a Bachelor Degree in English.

Kafui Danku is married to a Canadian businessman Kojo Pitcher. Kojo and Kafui got married in 2011. They have two children together.

Kafui and Kojo have their first child Lorde Ivana Pitcher and their second child Titan Pitcher. Lorde was born in Houston 2016 and Titan was born in Canada 2020.
Her Career
Danku’s first career was modeling. Her Dad wasn’t really okay with it but he became supportive when he eventually saw her on t.v after she competed in the Miss Greater Accra 2004.
Kafui won the pageant and a few months later went to the Miss Ghana 2004 other contest, placing as a finalist (contest).
Kafui began her acting career at the United Nations, she later joined the Ghana Movie Industry in 2009. Kafui’s first movie in the Ghana movie industry is Agony of Christ, with cast actors Majid Michel, and Nadia Buari.
After many years of acting, Kafui launched into movie-making in 2013. She co-owns ABC Limited, a film production, which has produced films such as, Devil in a Dress, Any Other Monday, Letter to My Mother, and Love and Crime, the film production has won awards for her productions.
