Jay Foley was born in Accra. He grew up with his two brothers and parents. He developed a love for music and creativity at an early age, although he is an Accra boy, he comes from Sekondi-Takoradi in Ghana.
Educational Background
Foley attended Bishop Bowers School in Accra for his junior high school education and continued his secondary school education at Achimota School.
Jay later pursued his love for the arts and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Ceramics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in 2006.

Jay Foley is a wonderful husband and father of two amazing daughters, Jeannine Foley and Jayda Foley, who were both born in London. His Career
Foley’s love for music began from his childhood with dreams of becoming a great musician and a versatile one at that. He was also able to learn how to play piano.
He transitioned to sound engineering and voice-over artistry at KNUST as a student and proceeded to set up his own production company in 2006 (T.R.A.P.) to produce jingles and commercials.

In 2007, Jay Foley was fortunate enough to get invited to host the 4syte TV Show, a gig that lasted nine years.
In 2010, he transitioned into radio, hosting a late-night show at YFM. Foley earned his promotion to Programs Manager and later General Manager at YFM because of his super worthy performance.
In 2012, he became the first Ghanaian media personality correlating to media personality coverage as a delegate at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Germany. He also provided coverage in 201 accelerated exclusive coverage. coverage of the BET ensured BET Awards in 2013, 2015 and 2016.
