Overview:
As a Health Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to residents in nursing homes or homes for the aged. Your responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring patients’ health, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Experience an asset
- Language: Proficiency in English
Responsibilities:
Your duties as a Health Care Aide will include:
- Supplying and emptying bedpans
- Taking patients’ vital signs
- Making beds and maintaining patients’ rooms
- Assisting with patients’ exercise routines
- Bathing, dressing, and grooming patients
- Responding to call signals
- Accompanying patients on recreational activities
- Administering first aid in emergency situations

- Certificates: First Aid Certificate
