Grace Omaboe was born on 25th June 1945, in Abirem, Ghana. Grace hails originally from Nyafuma, Ghana. She lived with her parents and has 5 siblings – although she lost her older brother, so she is the eldest sibling.
Her mother, Madam Rebecca Afia Daadom, is now deceased, but was a trader likewise as an entertainer, which Grace will say stimulated her creative mind. Her father – who was from Osu, also deceased and he died prior to her mother who passed away in 2017.

Grace’s path of life has been full of love, loss and tenacity. After divorcing her first husband, she had a long-term relationship with Ghanaian actor David Dontoh. Their romance began when they starred in the classic series “Obra” together and lasted for 11 years before they broke up. Grace married her second husband but that marriage also ended in divorce.
She is a proud mother of six children- four boys and two girls. Her first marriage gave her four children and her second marriage gave her two children.
