Agya Koo’s breakthrough came when a friend connected him with Akosua Dede, the boss of the “Agoro b3 sor” Concert Party Group. This would create the way for Agya Koo to begin his career here as a musician and actor in the National Theatre, Accra.

Agya Koo’s film career picked up steam when he starred in the very first movie he acted in, Abaawa Mary, which was written by the late Nana Kwame Ampedu.
