WHO IS ADJOA VAN VICKER?
Adjoa Dawson Amoah popularly known as Van Vicker, was born by Mr and Mrs Dawson on the January 24th, 1977 in Accra, Ghana. She hails from Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
HER EDUCATION
Adjoa’s academic accomplishments steadied her remarkable professional journey. She attended Aggrey Memorial Senior High School in Ghana, then went on to get her Bachelor Degree on Social Sciences at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in 2000.
Adjoa’s quest for knowledge didn’t end there. In 2003, she graduated with a Master’s in International Affairs from the Legon Center for International Affairs based in Accra.
Then in 2016, she graduated from London South Bank University in the United Kingdom with a Master’s degree in Development Studies. She also earned a professional certificate in Human Resources with the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners, Ghana (IHRMP).

Adjoa Van Vicker’s career an example of her versatility and hard work. She began her career in the 1990s as a model and took part in the highly prestigious Miss Lux Universe beauty pageant in 1999.
She worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Economic Affairs, Ghana and later as a Human Resource and Administrative Manager at a security printing company.
Adjoa is currently the Director of Human Resource Management and Development at the Ghana Education Service (GES). She has stack up over 17 years of experience in human resource management, making a name for herself in her field.
She has also gained recognition, having received the Best Change Management Professional Award at the HR Role Model Excellence Awards in 2021 by Alica Consult, one of the leading HR firms in Ghana.

Adjoa Van Vicker is married to popular Ghanaian actor Van Vicker. The happy couple married on the 16th of October, 2003 and have three children: J’dyl Vanette Vicker, J-ian Vicker and Vj Van Vicker.
