Kwame Yogo was born and raised in his father’s hometown of Assin Bereku, located in the Central Region of Ghana. He was born on September 25, 1990, and as of 2025, he is 34 years old.
Kwame attended high school at Aburaman Senior High School, also in the Central Region. He began his music journey in SHS and was identified with the name 2 PM, given to him by his school father. However, after high school, he changed his stage name to Kwame Y-O-G-O-T (Kwame You Got Talent) and came to live in Ashaiman to pursue his music career.
Now, he was always recording songs and using people’s beats for mixtapes. Later, he joined the Adom FM Kasahare show as one of the competitors, and he was a part of the rap battles on Adom FM during the time of Dr. Duncan and was still there when Prekese and Pope Skinny took over as hosts.
He Released his first single, Eko yie, featuring Castro, in 2010. he released songs titled Wusie and B3fa, and these songs made waves in his hometown of Assin Bereku.
He also became a mentor for TV3’s Talented Kids reality show, and he’s a part of nurturing some of their young talents.
In 2021, Kwame signed with Sky Entertainment, a music record label in Ghana, and he got his breakthrough in the Ghanaian music industry the same year after releasing Biibi Besi, featuring Kwami Eugene.
