Her father, Major (Rtd) Boduong, has worked in several places around Ghana. Consequently, Moesha and her family have lived in many different parts of Ghana; she spent time in both Accra and Kumasi, for instance, when her dad lived there. Moesha’s mom died when Moesha was a kid, and she has been raised by her dad and his second wife. Part of her is a native of Billaw, in the Upper West Region of Ghana, where her dad was born.
The parents of Moesha are a retired Ghanaian soldier and a businesswoman from Billaw and Lambusie, respectively, both of which places are found in the Upper West Region of Ghana.

Moesha Boduong wanted to become a nurse growing up but changed her mind when she got into senior high school. She switched from choosing nursing as a future profession to becoming an actress.
At Accra Girls’ SHS, where she had her high school education, she used to mimic celebrities, which her friends saw as entertaining. This made Moesha believe she would do great with acting. So, after high school, she enrolled in the School of Performing Arts at the University of Ghana to study Theater Arts.
Her acting journey began in her first year at the university. She started auditioning for movie roles at Level 100 at the University of Ghana. With her consistency, she was discovered by Ghanaian filmmaker David Owusu of Media 5 Promotions, who gave her her first exposure to acting.
However, Moesha landed her first official movie role in a Shirley Frimpong Manso movie, where she played just a short role in a club scene. Since then, she has featured in different films produced in Ghana. She has also starred in Nigerian movies.
