Overview:

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations of our food service establishment. Your responsibilities will include coordinating staff activities, ensuring quality control, managing inventory, and addressing customer concerns. With your leadership and expertise, you will contribute to the success and efficiency of our operations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Language: Proficiency in English

Responsibilities:

Your duties as a Food Service Supervisor will encompass:

  • Establishing methods to meet work schedules
  • Supervising and coordinating activities of food preparation staff
  • Training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimating and ordering ingredients and supplies
  • Hiring food service staff
  • Ensuring food service and quality control
  • Preparing budget and cost estimates
  • Addressing customers’ complaints or concerns
  • Maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Preparing and submitting reports
  • Establishing work schedules

Supervision:

You will be responsible for supervising 5-10 people, including food service counter attendants, food preparers, kitchen and food service helpers, and staff in various areas of responsibility.
